What You’ll Do

• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in designated areas, including restrooms, offices, and kitchens
• Remove garbage and manage waste disposal in compliance with health standards
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and kitchen utensils
• Safeguard cleaning equipment by storing it properly and reporting any maintenance needs
• Implement simple security measures and monitor for hazards within the facilities
• Perform basic maintenance tasks as required for the upkeep of the premises
• Follow infection control and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe environment

What You’ll Need

• NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Physical strength and endurance to meet the demands of the job
• A reliable and honest work ethic, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Willingness to rotate duties and adapt to various tasks as needed
