What You’ll Do
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in designated areas, including restrooms, offices, and kitchens
- Remove garbage and manage waste disposal in compliance with health standards
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and kitchen utensils
- Safeguard cleaning equipment by storing it properly and reporting any maintenance needs
- Implement simple security measures and monitor for hazards within the facilities
- Perform basic maintenance tasks as required for the upkeep of the premises
- Follow infection control and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe environment
What You’ll Need
- NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Physical strength and endurance to meet the demands of the job
- A reliable and honest work ethic, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to rotate duties and adapt to various tasks as needed
