What You’ll Do

  • Provide housekeeping and cleaning services to ensure all areas are clean and tidy.

  • Maintain hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens by washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping.
  • Control stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils, ensuring everything is well-maintained and organized.
  • Report any equipment needing repair or any shortages of cleaning supplies.
  • Clean and arrange the boardroom, including setup for meetings.
  • Implement basic security measures to safeguard the building.
  • Monitor and report hazards related to fire and electrical safety within the premises.
  • Conduct simple maintenance repairs and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 1 or 2 (or ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent).
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physical strength to manage the demands of the position.
