What You’ll Do

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas including offices, restrooms, and kitchens.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of facilities through regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming.
• Remove garbage and ensure proper disposal methods are followed.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or faulty equipment.
• Implement basic security measures, such as locking doors and closing windows.
• Monitor and report any hazards in the buildings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with simple maintenance tasks when necessary and report any repairs needed.

What You’ll Need

• An NQF level 1 or 2 qualification (or equivalent, like an ABET level 2 certificate).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physical strength and stamina to manage the demands of the position.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Reliability and honesty in all aspects of the job.
