What You’ll Do

• Provide housekeeping and cleaning services to designated areas.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
• Remove garbage and manage waste disposal effectively.
• Clean kitchen utensils and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils.
• Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting any repairs needed.
• Implement security measures, including locking doors and closing windows.
• Assess and report on hygiene issues and compliance with health regulations.

What You’ll Need

• NQF level 1 or 2 (or equivalent ABET level 2 certificate).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physical strength to manage the demands of the position.
• A reliable, honest work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to rotate duties as required.
