What You’ll Do
- Provide housekeeping and cleaning services to designated areas.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
- Remove garbage and manage waste disposal effectively.
- Clean kitchen utensils and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils.
- Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting any repairs needed.
- Implement security measures, including locking doors and closing windows.
- Assess and report on hygiene issues and compliance with health regulations.
What You’ll Need
- NQF level 1 or 2 (or equivalent ABET level 2 certificate).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physical strength to manage the demands of the position.
- A reliable, honest work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to rotate duties as required.
