What You’ll Do

  • Provide thorough housekeeping and cleaning services in designated areas to maintain cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Ensure the proper disposal of garbage and maintain hygiene in restrooms and bathrooms.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping.
  • Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring they are maintained in a hygienic state.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning materials and kitchen utensils.
  • Safely store cleaning equipment and products, ensuring they are kept in efficient working condition.
  • Implement basic security measures and monitor hazards in the workplace.
  • Conduct simple maintenance repairs as needed and report any faulty equipment.
  • Assess hygiene conditions and comply with infection control regulations.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABT Level 2 certificate or equivalent) with no prior experience required.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physical strength to manage the physical demands of the role.
  • Reliability and honesty, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to rotate shifts when required.
