What You’ll Do
- Provide housekeeping and cleaning services in various hospital areas to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
- Remove garbage and ensure proper hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and other facilities.
- Perform tasks such as washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Manage stock levels of cleaning materials and ensure safe storage of cleaning equipment.
- Implement basic security measures, such as locking doors and monitoring hazards.
- Report any maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly.
- Assess hygiene situations and adhere to Infection Control and Hygiene regulations.
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent) with no prior experience required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Honesty, reliability, and the physical strength to meet job demands.
- A strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
