What You’ll Do

• Provide housekeeping and cleaning services in various hospital areas to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
• Remove garbage and ensure proper hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and other facilities.
• Perform tasks such as washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Manage stock levels of cleaning materials and ensure safe storage of cleaning equipment.
• Implement basic security measures, such as locking doors and monitoring hazards.
• Report any maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly.
• Assess hygiene situations and adhere to Infection Control and Hygiene regulations.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent) with no prior experience required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Honesty, reliability, and the physical strength to meet job demands.
• A strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
