What You’ll Do

• Provide thorough housekeeping and cleaning services in designated areas
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and other key locations
• Remove garbage and ensure proper disposal practices
• Maintain kitchen utensils and equipment in a clean and safe condition
• Control stock levels of cleaning materials and report shortages
• Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring it is safe and functional
• Implement basic security measures within the hospital premises
• Identify and report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly
• Adhere to infection control and hygiene regulations
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a safe and clean environment

What You’ll Need

• NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Physical strength to handle the physical demands of the role
• Honesty and reliability in performing duties
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
