What You’ll Do

• Provide housekeeping and cleaning services to ensure cleanliness and tidiness in allocated areas.
• Remove garbage and ensure proper disposal in compliance with hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, bathrooms, and other facilities, including washing, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring they are safe for use.
• Monitor and control stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils.
• Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment, keeping it in safe and efficient working condition.
• Report any faulty equipment or shortages to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Implement basic security measures and monitor hazards within the buildings.
• Conduct simple maintenance repairs that do not require professional intervention.
• Adhere to Infection Control and Hygiene regulations, promoting a safe environment for all.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physical strength to handle the demands of the role.
