What You’ll Do
- Provide housekeeping and cleaning services to ensure cleanliness and tidiness in allocated areas.
- Remove garbage and ensure proper disposal in compliance with hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, bathrooms, and other facilities, including washing, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring they are safe for use.
- Monitor and control stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils.
- Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment, keeping it in safe and efficient working condition.
- Report any faulty equipment or shortages to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Implement basic security measures and monitor hazards within the buildings.
- Conduct simple maintenance repairs that do not require professional intervention.
- Adhere to Infection Control and Hygiene regulations, promoting a safe environment for all.
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physical strength to handle the demands of the role.
- Honesty and reliability in performing duties.
