What You’ll Do

  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of assigned areas, including restrooms and offices.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping.
  • Conduct garbage disposal and maintain hygiene standards in all spaces.
  • Manage and control stock levels of cleaning supplies and meal utensils.
  • Safeguard cleaning equipment, ensuring it is kept safe and in good working condition.
  • Implement basic security measures and monitor hazards within the facility.
  • Report any maintenance issues or equipment that requires repair.
  • Assess hygiene situations and adhere to Infection Control and Hygiene regulations.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physical strength to handle the demands of the job.
  • Reliability and honesty in performing duties.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to rotate positions as needed.
