What You’ll Do

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all allocated areas of the hospital.
• Remove garbage and ensure proper disposal.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas.
• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, and sweep as required.
• Control stock levels of cleaning materials and report shortages.
• Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring they are in working condition.
• Implement basic security measures and monitor for hazards.
• Conduct simple maintenance repairs when necessary.
• Adhere to Infection Control and Hygiene regulations.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 Certificate or equivalent).
• Good communication skills and ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physical strength to manage the demands of the position.
• Reliability and honesty as core personal attributes.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
