What You’ll Do
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in assigned areas, including restrooms and offices
- Remove garbage and ensure proper waste disposal methods
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and polishing
- Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring hygiene standards
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and report shortages
- Ensure cleaning equipment is safe, clean, and in good working order
- Prepare boardrooms for meetings, including arranging chairs and providing refreshments
- Implement basic security measures like locking doors and closing windows
- Report maintenance issues that require attention
- Assess and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and infection control protocols
What You’ll Need
- NQF level 1 or 2 (or ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays
