What You’ll Do

• Implement health promotion programmes and strategies at both facility and community levels.
• Plan and execute information, education, and communication activities aimed at raising health awareness.
• Promote community engagement and participation in health initiatives across various sectors.
• Establish community components for integrated management of childhood illnesses and healthy lifestyle interventions.
• Participate in local forums to build collaborative relationships and identify health advocacy opportunities.
• Distribute informational materials and resources throughout the sub-district.
• Support health sector initiatives, including those from local authorities, schools, and workplaces.
• Compile and submit reports on health promotion activities and outcomes.

What You’ll Need

• Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent.
• A recognized National Diploma in Health Promotion or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in health promotion.
• Strong interpersonal skills with effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• A valid driver’s license.
