What You’ll Do
- Maintain the cleanliness of the premises and surrounding areas
- Clean and empty bins regularly to ensure a tidy environment
- Water and nurture the garden, including pruning and trimming flowers and trees
- Mow the grass and remove weeds and garden refuse
- Apply insecticides as needed to maintain plant health
- Cultivate soil for trees and flowers, ensuring optimal growth
- Maintain and repair gardening equipment and tools
- Detect and report any malfunctioning gardening equipment
What You’ll Need
- Junior Certificate or STD 08/Grade 10/AET/ABET or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles and occupational health and safety
- Familiarity with garden materials and infection control
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and write proficiently
