What You’ll Do

• Cultivate and maintain garden areas, ensuring they are healthy and vibrant
• Prepare soil for planting new plants and flowers
• Fertilize, irrigate, weed, and prune flower beds to promote growth
• Mow lawns and maintain neat edges for a tidy appearance
• Load and unload equipment and materials necessary for gardening tasks
• Remove waste and debris from the grounds, ensuring cleanliness
• Operate basic machinery and tools safely and effectively
• Adhere to occupational health and safety protocols at all times

What You’ll Need

• Competency in the core functions of the position
• Proficiency in English and at least one other official language
• South African citizenship with documentary proof required at the interview
• ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7/NQF Level 1 qualification
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Understanding of cleaning agents and their safe handling
• Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and officials
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
