What You’ll Do
- Operate various kitchen appliances efficiently and safely
- Prepare meals and snacks based on ration scales and daily menus
- Assist in dishing up meals and serving tea or coffee
- Help with food preparation during field exercises
- Maintain cleanliness by washing trays, trolleys, and kitchen areas
- Lay out bed tables for clients and ensure their needs are met
- Control the food before it leaves the kitchen, catering to special diets
- Collect and return dishes after meals, ensuring a tidy environment
- Supply clients with fresh water daily and clean their water bottles
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of ABET qualification
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal)
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
- Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen equipment
- Willingness to work in shifts and maintain punctuality
- Good interpersonal skills to foster a positive working environment
