What You’ll Do
- Maintain the budget register and spreadsheet, ensuring all data is current and accurate
- Coordinate and monitor the provincial SCM expenditure
- Manage the reporting processes related to the budget and its control
- Ensure that all contracts are up-to-date and that relevant documentation is organized
- Monitor global financial authority and keep accurate records
- Register suppliers and maintain compliance with procurement guidelines
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a financial management role
- Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification
- An applicable three (3) year Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) is advantageous
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language
- Strong knowledge of public service prescripts and financial regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications
- A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is an added advantage
