What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support for transversal financial systems to users across departments.
- Register and manage system change requests in collaboration with National Treasury.
- Assist departments in processing financial transactions, including opening journals and reconciliations.
- Facilitate user account management and monitor access activities within financial systems.
- Generate and interpret financial reports, providing guidance to users on their findings.
- Implement payment disbursements to suppliers and monitor related schedules.
- Conduct ad hoc reporting and support management with specific financial analyses.
- Facilitate training sessions for new functionalities within financial systems.
- Liaise with National Treasury about system-related matters and enhancements.
What You’ll Need
- An NQF Level 6 qualification in Financial Management or a related field as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 2 years of functional working experience in Financial Management or a related area.
- Strong analytical and innovative thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize stakeholder needs.
- Proficiency in report writing, project management, and financial management principles.
- Effective communication skills for training and presentations.
- Competence in computer operations and familiarity with financial software systems.
