What You’ll Do

  • Provide tendering advisory support to small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs).
  • Assist suppliers with information and training related to the Central Supplier Database (CSD) during provincial events.
  • Facilitate access to business information from other government institutions to empower suppliers within the districts.
  • Support walk-in suppliers with the completion of tender documents daily.
  • Mobilize stakeholders for community outreach initiatives and tendering workshops.
  • Assist with logistics for workshops, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records, including internal controls and various registers related to supply chain management.
  • Aid suppliers with online registration and profile updates on the National Central Supplier Database (NCSD).
  • Handle registration queries received at the District NCSD Call Centre.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews with your supervisor in line with departmental goals.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of two years of functional working experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector SCM policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and adaptability to changes.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies effectively.
  • Experience in financial management and strategic planning.
