About the Role
The Provincial Finance Services is looking for a dedicated Financial Clerk Supervisor: Expenditure and Salary to join their team in Polokwane. What You’ll Do
- Administer telephone and cellphone accounts, ensuring accurate billing and timely payments.
- Monitor and track expenditure related to communication accounts.
- Coordinate upgrades and necessary changes to cellphone accounts.
- Maintain and update the Polfin master for telephones and cellphones.
- Oversee the monitoring of medical payments for detainees as per SAPS 70 guidelines.
- Prepare letters and information notes as needed to support financial operations.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in financial administration.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- An applicable three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- A valid driver’s license for a light motor vehicle is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating professionalism and accountability.
