What You’ll Do

• Manage the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process, including drafting environmental authorizations and conditions.
• Provide technical and procedural guidance to stakeholders on environmental impact management.
• Conduct site inspections and compile detailed site visit reports.
• Review and evaluate environmental authorization applications and associated documents.
• Analyze Environmental Management Programmes for various applications, including mining and municipal projects.
• Oversee records management and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Facilitate resource management in line with departmental directives.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 certificate alongside an NQF Level 6 qualification in Natural Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Law, or a related field.
• Registration with EAPASA as per S24H of NEMA.
• A minimum of three to five years of experience in Environmental Quality Management.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and assessment regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
