What You’ll Do
- Manage the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process, including drafting environmental authorizations and conditions.
- Provide technical and procedural guidance to stakeholders on environmental impact management.
- Conduct site inspections and compile detailed site visit reports.
- Review and evaluate environmental authorization applications and associated documents.
- Analyze Environmental Management Programmes for various applications, including mining and municipal projects.
- Oversee records management and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Facilitate resource management in line with departmental directives.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate alongside an NQF Level 6 qualification in Natural Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Law, or a related field.
- Registration with EAPASA as per S24H of NEMA.
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in Environmental Quality Management.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and assessment regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
