What You’ll Do

• Promote Employee Health and Wellness Programmes across the department.
• Refer employees with substance abuse disorders to external organizations for support.
• Implement wellness campaigns focused on physical health and mental well-being.
• Conduct workshops on stress management, financial wellness, and pre-retirement planning.
• Raise awareness about HIV, STIs, and TB through health campaigns.
• Provide counselling, psychoeducation, and trauma debriefing services.
• Compile reports and maintain updated client files to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Support bereaved families and facilitate bereavement processes.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma (NQF Level 6) in Psychology, Behavioural Science, or Social Work with a major in Psychology.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of practical experience in an Employee Health and Wellness environment.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Care Act and Health and Productivity policies.
• Registration with statutory bodies such as SACSSP or HPCSA is compulsory.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• A valid driver’s license.
