What You’ll Do
- Promote Employee Health and Wellness Programmes across the department.
- Refer employees with substance abuse disorders to external organizations for support.
- Implement wellness campaigns focused on physical health and mental well-being.
- Conduct workshops on stress management, financial wellness, and pre-retirement planning.
- Raise awareness about HIV, STIs, and TB through health campaigns.
- Provide counselling, psychoeducation, and trauma debriefing services.
- Compile reports and maintain updated client files to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
- Support bereaved families and facilitate bereavement processes.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma (NQF Level 6) in Psychology, Behavioural Science, or Social Work with a major in Psychology.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of practical experience in an Employee Health and Wellness environment.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Care Act and Health and Productivity policies.
- Registration with statutory bodies such as SACSSP or HPCSA is compulsory.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A valid driver’s license.
