What You’ll Do

  • Deliver safe and comprehensive care to patients with neurological diseases.
  • Perform clinical record keeping, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Operate dialysis machines and water purification systems effectively.
  • Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • Create a positive environment to enhance the patient experience.
  • Develop and modify personalized patient care plans based on assessments.
  • Interpret blood results and provide insights for treatment decisions.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and a qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Neurophysiology.
  • Current registration with the HPCSA as Neurophysiology (valid until 2026).
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of two years of dialysis experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of dialysis machines and water purification systems.
  • Understanding of infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols.
  • Basic computer literacy and knowledge of relevant nephrology legislation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills and organizational abilities, with the capacity to function under pressure.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
