What You’ll Do
- Manage e-Learning projects at the district level, focusing on technology implementation in schools.
- Conduct technology audits to assess needs and inform decisions in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate the retrieval and redistribution of technology to ensure all schools are adequately resourced.
- Oversee the execution of project deliverables including project plans, site visits, and installations.
- Develop and implement processes to support e-Learning and technology provisioning projects.
- Liaise with Head Office regarding technology innovations and provisioning.
- Provide administrative technical support to schools, ensuring connectivity and software/hardware maintenance.
- Maintain updated databases and records of e-Learning project implementation, including financial aspects.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate (or equivalent) and a three-year post-matric qualification.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management within an ICT environment, preferably in education.
- Knowledge of relevant provincial e-Learning policies, legislation, and regulations, including White Paper 7.
- Advanced computer literacy and strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent project planning, organizational, analytical, and report writing skills.
