What You’ll Do
- Perform general messenger and delivery services within the office.
- Sort and arrange correspondences in the registry for efficient access.
- Collect submissions and other documents from designated offices.
- Drive light and medium motor vehicles to transport passengers and materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on allocated vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
- Sort mail, files, documents, and parcels for distribution.
- Ensure proper sealing and addressing of items collected for delivery.
- Record deliveries in a logbook, ensuring recipients sign for received items.
- Assist with general office tasks, including copying, faxing, and shredding documents.
- Provide auxiliary administrative support as needed.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A valid driver’s license and a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Knowledge of procedures for operating and maintaining motor vehicles.
- Familiarity with messenger functions and office support tasks, including registry services.
- Understanding of the geographical area of Cape Town and its vicinity.
