What You’ll Do

• Monitor and review procurement planning to ensure compliance in the province.
• Provide oversight and report on the implementation of the Open Tender Process.
• Establish and enforce uniform processes across supply chain operations.
• Manage the performance of probity auditing services to ensure effectiveness.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop strategies for risk management.
• Leverage technology to enhance supply chain operations and drive innovation.
• Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering professional development.
• Conduct in-house training workshops on supply chain management reforms.
• Collaborate with various business units to improve stakeholder engagement.

What You’ll Need

• Tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Public Administration, Economics, or Commerce.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle or senior managerial role.
• Completion of the Public Service SMS Pre-entry Programme prior to appointment.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
