What You’ll Do
- Monitor and review procurement planning to ensure compliance in the province.
- Provide oversight and report on the implementation of the Open Tender Process.
- Establish and enforce uniform processes across supply chain operations.
- Manage the performance of probity auditing services to ensure effectiveness.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop strategies for risk management.
- Leverage technology to enhance supply chain operations and drive innovation.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering professional development.
- Conduct in-house training workshops on supply chain management reforms.
- Collaborate with various business units to improve stakeholder engagement.
What You’ll Need
- Tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Public Administration, Economics, or Commerce.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle or senior managerial role.
- Completion of the Public Service SMS Pre-entry Programme prior to appointment.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
