What You’ll Do

• Ensure alignment of programs with national priorities and policies.
• Monitor and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery.
• Set performance standards and benchmarks for program achievements.
• Develop operational plans and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Promote ethical practices and professionalism in social work.
• Report on strategic frameworks within your area of responsibility.
• Foster integrated service delivery in line with departmental objectives.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor of Social Work at NQF level 7, recognized by SAQA.
• Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Minimum of five years of proven experience at a Middle/Senior Managerial level.
• Proof of completion of the SMS pre-entry programme required before appointment.
• Valid motor vehicle driver’s license (excluding persons with disabilities).
• Core competencies in strategic capability, program management, and financial management.
• Strong communication skills and experience in social welfare services programs.
• Knowledge of social work service delivery models and relevant prescripts.
