What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the performance management of Talent Acquisition, Conditions of Service, and Labour Relations sub-units.
  • Develop and implement HR strategic objectives in alignment with The Presidency’s goals.
  • Enhance information management and oversight of human resources within the department.
  • Provide proactive support and advisory services on HR best practices for all stakeholders.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders regarding HR matters.
  • Lead initiatives to improve HR processes and service delivery standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the Public Service Regulatory Framework and relevant government policies.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate plus an appropriate degree or equivalent (NQF level 7).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in middle to senior management roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • A strong focus on client orientation and customer service.
  • Proven integrity and a commitment to service delivery innovation.
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of government policies, programs, and the Public Service Act.
  • Competence in financial management, project management, and stakeholder management.
