What You’ll Do
- Manage the implementation of comprehensive Human Resource Management strategies, including development, administration, and recruitment.
- Oversee labour relations to ensure fair and sound practices are maintained across the department.
- Drive special programs, including Employee Health and Wellness initiatives, to support staff wellbeing.
- Manage resources effectively, including human, financial, and physical assets within the Directorate.
- Collaborate with senior management to achieve performance outcomes and maintain a clean audit opinion.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations impacting human resource management.
What You’ll Need
- A degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a middle or senior managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of the Public Service Act, Employment Equity Act, Labour Relations Act, and other relevant legislation.
- Nyukela SMS Certificate for entry into the Senior Management Service (SMS) is required prior to appointment.
- A valid Code B driver’s licence.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent project and financial management abilities.
