What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Directorate of Human Capital Management.
  • Ensure comprehensive organizational development support is in place for all departmental programs.
  • Coordinate and integrate various service delivery programs to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Manage employee relations and advocate for a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop and implement employee health and wellness initiatives.
  • Oversee human capital planning, including salaries and information systems services.
  • Design and manage training and development programs to enhance staff skills and capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and directives in resource management.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience at a middle or senior management level.
  • Strong understanding of human capital management and talent management strategies.
  • Proven experience with policy formulation and coordination.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
