What You’ll Do
- Manage effective operations within the fingerprint verification unit.
- Provide expert advice to achieve operational goals and service delivery standards.
- Monitor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA) and ensure responsive service.
- Interpret and maintain statistical data on service levels, trends, and error rates.
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and action plans.
- Ensure accurate financial accounting and reporting within the unit.
- Implement Standard Operating Procedures consistently across the unit.
- Ensure all fingerprints are accurately verified, captured, and stored.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.
- Oversee policy development and compliance management.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Public Management, Administration, Business Administration, or a related field at NQF level 7.
- At least 5 years of experience at a Middle or Senior Managerial level in Public Service or Operations Management.
- Knowledge of relevant public service legislative frameworks and government structures.
- Familiarity with the Citizenship Act, Identification Act, Immigration Act, and other relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated abilities in project management, financial management, and data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license is advantageous, and willingness to travel is required.
