What You’ll Do
- Lead the execution of the DHA Digital Transformation Strategy and associated roadmap.
- Oversee project scope, planning, and the development of business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure clarity on project deliverables and expected outcomes.
- Implement governance frameworks and ensure compliance with project management methodologies.
- Develop and manage effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate program delivery.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and budgets to relevant sponsors and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of innovation, capability building, and organizational maturity within the department.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Project Management, ICT, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field at NQF level 7.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Management role, with 8 to 10 years’ experience in ICT or Digital Transformation.
- Extensive knowledge of project management processes and public service legislative frameworks.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and programs, particularly in a government context.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
