What You’ll Do

• Oversee the implementation of standardised policies and procedures across provinces.
• Monitor and report on law enforcement activities, including inspections and arrests.
• Analyse data and provide strategic recommendations for improved service delivery.
• Liaise with various law enforcement agencies to ensure coordinated operations.
• Develop and manage the Operational Plan for the directorate.
• Ensure compliance with relevant immigration laws and departmental regulations.
• Represent the directorate in management forums and relevant stakeholder meetings.
• Foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders for enhanced law enforcement practices.

What You’ll Need

• An undergraduate qualification in Security Management, Policing, Public Management, Public Administration, or International Relations (NQF level 7).
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience at middle or senior management level in a law enforcement or related environment.
• Proven experience in operational planning and joint operations.
• Knowledge of the Immigration Act, Public Service Regulatory Framework, and relevant legislation.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on strategy execution and stakeholder relations.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and work extended hours.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
