What You’ll Do
- Manage operations within the Provide and Labour Centres to ensure effective service delivery.
- Oversee the financial administration of unemployment insurance services in the province.
- Lead and coordinate resources, including human, financial, and physical assets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Public Service Act and Public Finance Management Act.
- Develop and implement policies to improve operational effectiveness and beneficiary support.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Operations Management, Public Management, or a related field at NQF Level 7.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a middle or senior managerial role within Operations, Social Security, or Insurance.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Public Service Act, Labour Relations Act, and Financial Management Act.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer applications and financial management tools.
- Proven ability in policy development, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and interpersonal skills.
