What You’ll Do

• Manage operations within the Provide and Labour Centres to ensure effective service delivery.
• Oversee the financial administration of unemployment insurance services in the province.
• Lead and coordinate resources, including human, financial, and physical assets.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Public Service Act and Public Finance Management Act.
• Develop and implement policies to improve operational effectiveness and beneficiary support.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

• An undergraduate qualification in Operations Management, Public Management, or a related field at NQF Level 7.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a middle or senior managerial role within Operations, Social Security, or Insurance.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Public Service Act, Labour Relations Act, and Financial Management Act.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in computer applications and financial management tools.
• Proven ability in policy development, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and interpersonal skills.
