What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic oversight of Human Resource, IT, Marketing, Facilities Management, and Records Management functions.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of HR, Marketing, and IT at the college.
  • Ensure effective communication and IT services tailored to college needs.
  • Lead the preparation of the college’s annual budget aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate the annual review of the college’s strategic plan and prepare quarterly reports.
  • Foster an organizational climate conducive to optimal performance through change management.
  • Develop and implement best practice policies and internal control systems for governance.
  • Manage the college’s assets and facilities effectively.
  • Guide and support staff development, ensuring compliance with administrative regulations.
  • Handle communication and marketing strategies for the Regional Office.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management, Development, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience, with at least three years at a junior management level in a corporate services environment.
  • Understanding of the Department of Higher Education and Training’s strategic vision and priorities.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Public Service Act and Labour Relations Act.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office applications.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
