What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership in Human Resource Management, IT, Marketing, and Facilities Management.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of HR, Marketing, and IT functions at the college.
  • Render communication and IT services tailored to meet college needs.
  • Drive the preparation of the college’s annual budget in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate the review and implementation of the college’s strategic plan.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports as per the performance plan.
  • Foster a positive organizational climate and implement change management initiatives.
  • Develop and enforce best practice policies, procedures, and internal controls for corporate governance.
  • Manage human resources and provide guidance for staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and administrative requirements.
  • Monitor and manage the college’s assets and facilities effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management/Development or a related qualification.
  • A minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience, including three years at a junior management level in a corporate services environment.
  • Understanding of the Department of Higher Education and Training’s strategic vision and priorities.
  • Knowledge of the Public Service Act, Employment of Educators Act, Labour Relations Act, and Public Financial Management Act.
  • Experience in managing people and projects with strategic planning capabilities.
  • Strong team collaboration skills and good project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
