What You’ll Do

• Manage warehouse operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Act and relevant legislation.
• Ensure proper storage and distribution of medicines to healthcare institutions.
• Strengthen engagement with stakeholders and warehouse staff to enhance performance.
• Develop and maintain internal control procedures to mitigate risks.
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacists and support personnel.
• Represent pharmaceutical services in relevant meetings and committees.
• Coordinate training programs for pharmacy assistants and interns.
• Compile reports for management on warehouse performance.

What You’ll Need

• B.Pharm or equivalent qualification, registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a pharmacist.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience post-registration, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Medicines and Related Substances Act.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and computer skills.
• Familiarity with good warehousing and pharmacy practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in problem-solving and team building.
• Valid driver’s license and availability to act as a responsible pharmacist when required.
