What You’ll Do

  • Manage treasury operations and banking arrangements.
  • Oversee cash flow liquidity forecasting and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and related legislation.
  • Supervise accounting practices and internal control processes.
  • Manage financial, human, and physical resources within the Sub-directorate.
  • Prepare reports for oversight structures and governance purposes.
  • Maintain treasury governance and policy formulation.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Financial Accounting, Finance, or Economics at NQF Level 7 recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of five years of working experience, including three years in cash flow liquidity management or treasury environments.
  • At least two years of experience at an Assistant Director or Junior Management level.
  • Knowledge of National Treasury Regulations, the Banks Act, and the Financial Intelligence Centre Act.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Leadership capabilities in people management and project management.
