What You’ll Do

  • Align education, training, and development initiatives with skills requirements.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of training manuals and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with ETD standards and performance management processes.
  • Coordinate research in education, training, and development at various organizational levels.
  • Engage with guardian committees to develop integrated learning programmes.
  • Manage accreditation processes for learning programmes and service providers.
  • Facilitate effective delivery of learning programmes and training opportunities.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance systems to evaluate ETD processes.
  • Manage the induction and orientation programmes for new employees.
  • Oversee and assess the impact of internships and learnership programmes.
  • Compile and submit progress reports on training activities and initiatives.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant 3-year National Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least six (6) years of experience in HR or Training, with a minimum of three years in a management role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with the PERSAL system.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and project management principles.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, systems, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer relations skills.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and build strong network relationships.
