What You’ll Do

  • Develop and review trade development and promotion strategies.
  • Facilitate the implementation of trade development and promotion programs.
  • Conduct research on new markets to target and sustain existing markets.
  • Identify and profile new investment opportunities in key growth areas.
  • Support investment and business setup while providing retention and aftercare services.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the InvestSA Limpopo One Stop Shop.
  • Facilitate access to incentives aimed at trade development and investment attraction.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders for market access of provincial produce.
  • Manage and monitor customized incentive packages for provincial enterprises.
  • Oversee resources in compliance with relevant directives and legislation.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 6 qualification in Economics, Business Management, Development Economics, Marketing, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Trade Development and Investment Promotion, with at least three years at a supervisory level.
  • A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of public service legislative frameworks and macro/microeconomic policies.
  • Proficient in investment appraisal, research methodologies, and corporate governance.
  • Excellent skills in strategic thinking, financial and human resource management, and communication.
  • Proven ability in people management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
