What You’ll Do
- Implement operational strategies for Thusong Service Centres and outreach initiatives.
- Oversee the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes for the Thusong programme.
- Manage the planning and performance of the Sub-directorate, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
- Lead and develop a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure effective financial management and compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Coordinate community development initiatives that respond to local needs and challenges.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma or B-Degree (equivalent or higher).
- A minimum of 3 years of middle management experience.
- Strong knowledge of community development and municipal finances.
- Familiarity with monitoring and reporting procedures, as well as project management practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate group activities.
- Proficiency in managing financial resources and understanding legal frameworks relevant to public service.
