What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement risk and performance management policies and procedures.
- Oversee the monitoring of risk management strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Act as the focal point for internal and external audit requirements, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Manage risk assessments and interventions to prevent fraud within the supply chain management system.
- Review and align supply chain management policies with new legislation and regulations.
- Provide leadership and performance management for your team, fostering development and accountability.
- Compile administrative reports and manage procurement and asset management for the sub-directorate.
- Facilitate training and workshops to improve team capabilities and communication.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Supply Chain Management, Internal Audit, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience at the Assistant Director level in Supply Chain Management.
- A valid Driver’s License and knowledge of relevant legislation, including the PFMA and BBBEE Act.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with BAS, SAP, and SRM.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities, with experience in report writing and policy interpretation.
- A commitment to service delivery and innovation, with a focus on stakeholder relationship management.
