What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate joint initiatives to enhance anti-poaching and anti-trafficking efforts within the Premier Integrated Wildlife Zone.
  • Manage case dockets and provide support for criminal investigations related to wildlife crimes.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders and attend important forums and meetings to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Provide strategic support for national wildlife trafficking projects and compliance with legal procedures.
  • Oversee enforcement and investigation operations to achieve successful law enforcement outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • National Diploma (NQF6) in Policing, Forensic Investigation, Law, Environmental Law, or a related field recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in investigation, enforcement, or related fields, with at least three years in a junior management role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of environmental policies, criminal justice systems, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong legal drafting, investigative, and evidence-gathering skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
