What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the facilitation of international development assistance to ensure alignment with South African policies.
  • Manage the administration of international agreements, including routing, tracking, and compliance processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of foreign donor-funded projects and manage the compliance calendar for governance requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across national and local government to negotiate and consolidate development programs.
  • Ensure effective programme delivery through management of the RDP Fund operational administration.
  • Implement best practices for ODA management and support the development of a knowledge base within the department.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 and a National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Economic Sciences, Social Sciences, or Development Studies; a Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) is an advantage.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience, including 2 years at an Assistant Director level or equivalent in programme and portfolio management.
  • Strong understanding of public policy development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of developmental management principles and practices.
