What You’ll Do

  • Develop and monitor the implementation of policies and frameworks on productivity and capability measurement.
  • Conduct thorough research to inform productivity and capability measurement practices.
  • Implement and maintain norms and standards to institutionalize effective measurement processes.
  • Provide technical support to various departments on enhancing productivity and capability.
  • Offer technical advice and capacity-building initiatives to aid implementation efforts.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure compliance with productivity measures.
  • Create and maintain systems for tracking compliance within the Directorate.
  • Compile and publish insightful case study reports on productivity initiatives.
  • Assist in the operations, systems, and processes of the Directorate.
  • Develop and submit comprehensive annual and operational plans, along with monthly and annual reports.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate and a minimum qualification at NQF Level 7 in relevant fields such as Public Administration, Business Administration, or Industrial Psychology.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Public Administration, Policy Development, or a research environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and relevant government legislation.
  • Familiarity with government programs, particularly the National Development Plan.
  • Understanding of operations management and productivity measurement frameworks.
  • Proficiency in research, data analysis, and policy analysis methodologies.
  • Excellent writing skills, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.
  • High standards of confidentiality, ethics, reliability, and trustworthiness.
