What You’ll Do
- Manage and coordinate the research and political verification of special pension beneficiaries.
- Validate information sourced through research and ensure it is supported by credible documentation.
- Liaise with relevant organs to confirm the status of special pension applications.
- Compile and present detailed reports on the political involvement of beneficiaries.
- Develop and implement processes and policies related to the verification of pension applications.
- Ensure compliance with the GPAA’s strategic objectives in all research activities.
- Foster effective internal and external relationships to enhance collaboration.
- Oversee the management of resources within the unit, ensuring performance aligns with targets.
- Facilitate staff development and maintain high productivity levels in the team.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 360 credits.
- At least six years of experience in research and administration of special pensions, with three years in a management role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Special Pensions Act and Public Finance Management Act.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-oriented approach.
- Capacity to build strong relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
