What You’ll Do
- Conduct vetting fieldwork investigations to gather relevant information.
- Perform thorough analysis and quality checks on gathered information.
- Compile and submit comprehensive reports to management and the State Security Agency.
- Carry out vetting investigations for confidential and secret levels.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of vetting policies and guidelines.
- Provide expert advice on the interpretation and application of relevant legislation and policies.
- Facilitate effective communication with the State Security Agency and other key stakeholders.
- Manage and administer vetting files and reports with diligence.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate is essential.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Security Risk Management, Police Science, or Policing (NQF6).
- At least 2 years of experience in security vetting is required.
- Knowledge of security vetting administration and general administration practices.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in report writing and presentation skills.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly.
- Ability to obtain Top Security Clearance within one year of appointment.
