What You’ll Do

• Conduct vetting fieldwork investigations to gather relevant information.
• Perform thorough analysis and quality checks on gathered information.
• Compile and submit comprehensive reports to management and the State Security Agency.
• Carry out vetting investigations for confidential and secret levels.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of vetting policies and guidelines.
• Provide expert advice on the interpretation and application of relevant legislation and policies.
• Facilitate effective communication with the State Security Agency and other key stakeholders.
• Manage and administer vetting files and reports with diligence.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 Certificate is essential.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Security Risk Management, Police Science, or Policing (NQF6).
• At least 2 years of experience in security vetting is required.
• Knowledge of security vetting administration and general administration practices.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in report writing and presentation skills.
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Ability to obtain Top Security Clearance within one year of appointment.
