What You’ll Do
- Analyze and interpret incoming correspondence and direct it to the appropriate components.
- Compile comprehensive reports and serve as Secretary during meetings.
- Manage the budget for the CFO’s office, ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Coordinate and facilitate the compilation of annual estimates for financial planning.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
- Ensure adherence to legal frameworks and execute tasks as directed by the CFO.
- Maintain confidentiality and promote the image of the CFO’s office.
- Coordinate and consolidate submissions to oversight bodies.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of the audit action plan.
- Facilitate and reconcile audit information to uphold financial integrity.
What You’ll Need
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 and an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in Finance, Financial Management, Management Accounting, or Auditing.
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience at a supervisory or management level.
- Knowledge of departmental policies, project management, and strategic management.
- Skills in leadership, negotiation, facilitation, computer literacy, and presentation.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Understanding of budgets and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- A valid driver’s license.
