What You’ll Do

• Manage and support all administrative functions related to liquor licensing.
• Coordinate with Local Liquor Authorities and the Liquor Board on licensing matters.
• Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the provincial liquor outlet database.
• Ensure compliance through quality assurance of liquor license applications.
• Facilitate initiatives promoting responsible drinking across the region.
• Handle disputes and legal processes related to liquor license applications.
• Implement and administer policies and operational plans for liquor affairs and business registration.
• Manage resources effectively in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.

What You’ll Need

• An NQF 6 qualification in Commerce, Business Management, Economics, Public Administration, Commercial Law, Law, or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
• Five years of experience in the Business Environment field, with a minimum of three years at a supervisory level.
• A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for individuals with disabilities).
• Knowledge of relevant legislation regarding liquor affairs and business registration.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, report writing, and managerial skills.
• Effective planning and organizing skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
