What You’ll Do

  • Manage service delivery objectives in alignment with departmental mandates.
  • Represent the department in various stakeholder forums and interdepartmental structures.

  • Manage resources effectively within the Labour Centre to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labour legislation and departmental policies.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma (NQF6) or Undergraduate Bachelor Degree (NQF7) in fields such as Financial Management, Human Resource Management, or Public Administration.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a labour market operations or service delivery environment, with at least two years at an Assistant Director level.
  • Strong knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, and all relevant labour legislation.
  • Excellent management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on conflict management and leadership.
  • Proficiency in project management, monitoring, and evaluation.
