What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Knowledge Management, Library Services, and Records Management.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Knowledge Management strategies and policies aligned with national frameworks.
- Drive the creation of an integrated Knowledge Management environment to support learning and knowledge sharing.
- Oversee the management and preservation of library collections and digital repositories.
- Ensure compliance with records management regulations and standards.
- Manage and modernize Library and Information Services, including electronic resources and cataloguing systems.
- Coordinate the transfer and preservation of records in collaboration with the National Archives.
- Lead special projects related to information governance and operational improvement.
- Establish effective stakeholder relationships within the government and public service sectors.
- Prepare strategic and operational reports for management and governance committees.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate with an appropriate Diploma/Advanced Certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF level 6.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of middle management experience in a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a focus on client orientation.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of public service regulatory frameworks and policy formulation processes.
- Experience in project management and people management.
- Familiarity with the Public Finance Management Act and related regulations.
